MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang has declared August 29 (Monday) and August 30 (Tuesday) non-working holidays, making it a 4-day long weekend for some sectors.

Right before Christmas, the Posterous team has been hard at work to un-wrap a special present - Archive Views.

I'd like to see it with my Posterous too. I hope it won't conflict with the Posterous theme I am using.

Page Breaks in Posterous

I love blogging from my email to my Posterous blog. And I've tried posting a rather long entry and don't want to scroll endlessly when I drop by my site and see just 2 posts on my home page and 1 is longer than the other. I wanted to break the page of my blog post. Really long pages are a sight for my easily-tired eyes, in my opinion personally. No offense meant to those who love to scroll endlessly :)

Autopost to Facebook

When I started here in Posterous, I autoposted to Twitter after publishing to my Posterous blog right from my email (heaven!)

Posting to a secondary site followed.

Now, I'm making the jump to autopost to Facebook! Just about NOW.

Not-so-fresh changes have already been made by Posterous when auto-posting to Facebook (since 2009). So I'm learning about the options being offered and checking out how it is being implemented in my Facebook.

Cheesy As Cake

I'm doing a late post. And I wanted to test how well Posterous auto-posts to another platform dear son asked me to experiment with. I'm not experimenting with its interface but relying solely on Posterous doing its job and communicating with this other platform. Thanks Posterous. I'm excited to see how this will turn out. Auto-posting is one thing, but I will want to check how it lays out, as it is another thing. I will write about the Blogger thingie in another entry.

How Easy is it to Start Facebook?

I have started to learn about electronic mail and just recently, how to post a blog entry with just using my email. I found it cool and it limited by interaction with the internet to a minimum because of this auto-posting wonder. Dear son told me it's not just with Posterous because it's become an auto-post network with social networks. But still, I am amazed with this idea.

Email to Posterous Using my Mobile

I've shared before how I learned basic email skills. Being a text-crazy country that we are, SMS is a breeze.

 
Another tip from my son, I can combine my email aptitude with my WiFi mobile and send email just like texting.

Not too long ago, I learned the basics of email. And truth be told, it's just the basic-est (pardon the non-word) and purest form of using electronic mail. Toyed with Outlook before but failed. Miserably. But typing is no problem. I learned from the masters of touch-typing using the manual typewriters of the olden days. And my English serves me well. Most of the time. I think.
