Fairer Skin, More not Less

I'm a gramma in my golden years, my utmost concern now is minimizing age spots and deep-set lines. I've been through peeling, skin discoloration, even acne in my younger years. But I am over all of that now. My regimen involves maintaining my skin with moisturizers and hydrating essences. We hear age defy, age defense and anti-aging products now, they're the hype. And all for good measure. Around the world, it's the time for baby boomers, and everywhere!

I look around me and I see fair-skinned Pinays - natural and otherwise. Media is such an influence. And even when I don't look around me, I see it in my daughter, my daughter-in-law, my nieces, even my younger friends and former colleagues. It's the IN thing. Maybe no longer the most novel thing for me, but still, to some extent, fairer skin seems to be THE ultimate.

I do say to the younger ones in my family - be content with your own skin shade and wear your skin as you would your clothes. Your skin is your best fasion accessory! And I do, but I will succumb to the fact that even at my age, fairer skin may be beneficial to even out my darker spots with my natural skin color. Like Earthlingorgeous I want 50x more fairer skin.
