How time flies! The whole of March, I spent some time orienting hubby with the Internet! We both have developed typing skills. Maybe just a difference with the speed :)
So our first stop was Electronic Mail! We've covered the basics - entering username and password, learning the left side bar for navigation and sending email. Added bonus were attaching a picture and saving an email to drafts. We didn't touch our filters yet but had the kids set them for us. We know how to click on them just as we click the mainstays - Inbox or Sent Mail or Spam.
I focused on Email for the meantime. Daughter covered Facebook and Twitter basics. We're now waiting if hubby's little blog has already been set up by our son. Since he is familiar with mine, he asked if it could we could have similarly-designed blogs, so he won't get lost in his new home in the web.
I now get how you can document a learning evolution via blogging. And it's quite fun to read back when you've accumulated some entries already. I smile when I look at mine, no matter how meager they are so far :) Thanks for reading!
